What is bought in Ukraine is credible everywhere. Procurement follows proof, and a system that has survived peer electronic warfare answers the only question an allied buyer actually cares about.
The mechanics are unglamorous. A validated result becomes a letter of request moving through a national system. A letter of request becomes a funded tranche. A funded tranche becomes a follow-on contract in a second country, because the first one de-risked the decision.
One client turned a requirement developed inside Ukraine into a $50MM letter of request funded by the US government, with a German follow-on worth over €100MM now in development. That is the shape of it — Ukraine proves the thing, allied budgets buy it at scale.
The same credibility moves private capital. An air-defense interceptor company raised over $100MM on the strength of letters of intent secured through work inside Ukraine. An early-stage startup used a $2MM letter of intent from a major Ukrainian manufacturer to get into Y Combinator.
